Terp sauce is an aromatic type of dab that caters to those with a refined terpene palate and strong potency requirements.

It is a cannabis concentrate that contains high levels of terpenes, which are oils that give cannabis strains their scent. Their more technical name is “high terpene full spectrum extracts,” or HTFSEs.

Terpenes are used by plants as a biological mechanism to ward off predators or attract pollinators. Different growing conditions like weather, light, and humidity can affect the production of terpenes. A high concentration of trichomes on a flower strain produces unique and potent smells and flavours.

In short the more THCA and terpenes present in the starting material, the better the end product will be. At BudCart we do our best to seek out high quality bio material and using a Hydrocarbon free process. First we Flash-freeze buds before extraction to prevent the loss of terpenes.

It is a -60C grain ethanol soaked extraction.

After the ethanol wash we winterize for three days.

Each batch is individually filtered to remove out all undesirables (fats, waxes, and lipids). This filtration process may repeated to attain highest quality.

The material is then placed into a high speed rotary evaporator to remove all the remaining ethanol.
